About Bowen Estate Shiraz 750ml
Bowen Estate Shiraz opens with a deep, inky crimson hue and an immediately expressive nose of dark plum, blackberry compote, and cracked black pepper, underscored by subtle wafts of smoked meat and cedar. On the palate, this Coonawarra Shiraz delivers a generous, concentrated core of dark fruit — cassis, mulberry, and bitter chocolate — supported by firm but supple tannins that speak to the region's terra rossa soils. Layers of clove, licorice, and vanilla from careful oak maturation weave through the mid-palate, adding complexity without overwhelming the fruit. The finish is long, structured, and satisfying, with a lingering spice and earthy minerality that is distinctly Coonawarra in character.
