About Clyde Park Locale Pinot Gris 2023 750ML
Clyde Park's Locale Pinot Gris from the Moorabool Valley in the Geelong region showcases the cool-climate elegance this variety thrives in. On the nose, lifted aromas of ripe pear, white peach, and honeysuckle are framed by a delicate waft of ginger spice and crushed stone minerality. The palate is generous yet precise, with juicy nectarine and quince paste flavours underpinned by a saline, chalky texture that speaks clearly to the region's basalt soils. A thread of lemon curd and subtle almond meal adds complexity mid-palate, while well-integrated natural acidity keeps everything fresh and focused. The finish is clean, lingering, and finely textured.
