About Corryton Burge Percival Norman Shiraz 2020 750ML
The Corryton Burge Percival Norman Shiraz 2020 opens with a deep, inky crimson hue that hints at its concentration and depth. On the nose, rich aromas of blackberry compote and dark plum mingle with fragrant violet and a whisper of cracked black pepper — a hallmark of Barossa Valley Shiraz at its finest. Subtle cedary oak and a thread of dark chocolate add complexity and intrigue. On the palate, the wine is generous and full-bodied, delivering waves of ripe black fruits, mocha, and licorice underpinned by supple, well-integrated tannins. The oak influence is present but balanced, lending structure without overwhelming the fruit. The finish is long, warming, and persistent, with lingering notes of spice and dark fruit that speak to the quality of the vintage.
