About Duvel Barrel Aged Rum
Duvel Barrel Aged Rum marries the iconic Belgian golden ale's yeast-driven complexity with the rich, tropical warmth of rum cask maturation, opening with heady aromas of overripe banana, vanilla bean, and toasted oak. On the palate, waves of caramelized sugar, dried tropical fruit, and subtle spice unfold alongside a distinctive bready, estery character inherited from Duvel's legendary yeast strain. The finish is long, warming, and gently sweet, with lingering notes of molasses and a whisper of hoppy bitterness that sets it apart from conventional rum expressions.
