About Grand Talon Barrel - Aged Rice Wine 750mL
Grand Talon Barrel-Aged Rice Wine opens with a luminous golden hue and a bouquet that bridges East and West with quiet sophistication. On the aroma, toasted oak mingles with delicate rice blossom and a whisper of honeyed mochi, while time in barrel has coaxed out notes of dried apricot and warm vanilla. The palate is gracefully layered — an initial softness of lychee and white peach gives way to a gentle nuttiness reminiscent of aged sake, underpinned by caramel and a subtle earthiness from the grain. The oak integration is seamless, lending structure without overpowering the wine's inherent delicacy. As it opens in the glass, hints of toasted almond and candied ginger emerge, adding complexity to what is a remarkably refined expression of barrel-aged rice wine.
