About Skillogalee Sparkling Shiraz NV 750mL
Skillogalee's Sparkling Shiraz NV is a richly textured, celebratory expression from the Clare Valley, bursting with dark berry exuberance and a fine, persistent mousse. On the nose, it opens with an inviting cascade of blackberry compote, dark cherry, and mulberry, underpinned by subtle hints of dark chocolate and a whisper of warm spice. The palate is generous and plush, delivering layers of bramble fruit, plum pudding, and a touch of mocha, with fine-grained tannins that give structure without austerity. The bubbles are creamy and well-integrated, lifting the fruit and adding a lively freshness to the wine's inherent richness. A dusting of cinnamon and clove adds complexity, while the Clare Valley's characteristic acidity keeps everything beautifully balanced and vibrant.
