About Soumah Hexham Savarro750mL
Soumah's Hexham Savarro is a captivating and relatively rare varietal from the Yarra Valley, blending the aromatic lift of Sauvignon Blanc with the textural depth of Fiano. The nose is immediately expressive, offering bright citrus blossom, white peach, and freshly cut lemongrass alongside a delicate floral perfume reminiscent of jasmine and orange blossom. On the palate, the wine reveals a beautifully layered mid-weight texture with vibrant acidity framing notes of nectarine, green apple, and zesty lime curd. A subtle saline minerality threads through the wine, lending a sense of place and coastal freshness that is distinctly Yarra Valley in character. The finish is clean, precise, and lingering, with a gentle almond-skin bitterness and a squeeze of preserved lemon that keeps the wine energetic and food-friendly.
