About Soumah Hexham SYRAH 750mL
Soumah's Single Vineyard Shiraz from the Yarra Valley opens with an inviting bouquet of dark plum, cracked black pepper, and violet florals, underpinned by subtle cool-climate restraint. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied with silky, fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity that gives it a sense of elegance and precision. Layers of blackberry compote, smoked meat, and dark chocolate unfold with complexity, while a whisper of French oak adds structure without dominating. The finish is long, savoury, and beautifully balanced, with lingering spice and a cool-climate freshness that sets it apart from warmer-region expressions of Shiraz.
