About Wirra Wirra Chook Block
Wirra Wirra Chook Block is a vibrant and approachable McLaren Vale red blend that opens with an inviting bouquet of ripe dark cherries, crushed blackberries, and a hint of dried herbs. On the palate, the wine is generous and plush, delivering layers of juicy plum and dark berry fruit supported by a gentle backbone of fine-grained tannins. Subtle notes of dark chocolate and warm spice weave through the mid-palate, adding complexity without overwhelming the fruit-forward character. The wine is well-balanced with bright natural acidity that keeps everything fresh and lively. The finish is smooth and satisfying, lingering with a touch of mocha and earthy warmth that reflects the distinctive McLaren Vale terroir.
