About Yarra Yering Underhill Shiraz 750ML
Yarra Yering Underhill Shiraz is a benchmark cool-climate Shiraz from one of the Yarra Valley's most storied estates. On the nose, it opens with an intriguing interplay of dark plum, cracked black pepper, and violet, underpinned by subtle smoked meat and earthy forest floor complexity. The palate is refined yet deeply expressive — layers of blackberry compote and dark cherry are woven through with licorice, fine-grained tannins, and a thread of savory olive tapenade. The wine carries the hallmark elegance of the Yarra Valley, with a cool-climate restraint that prevents any heaviness. The finish is long, silky, and persistently spiced, with a lingering minerality that speaks clearly to the estate's unique terroir.
