About Howard Polish Hill Riesling 2024 750ML
Howard Park's Polish Hill Riesling from the Clare Valley is a benchmark expression of one of Australia's most celebrated Riesling terroirs. The nose is arrestingly pure and precise, offering lifted aromas of fresh lime zest, crushed slate, and white blossom, with a subtle undercurrent of green apple and talc. On the palate, the wine is tightly wound and laser-focused, with electric acidity driving flavors of lemon curd, lime juice, and crisp nectarine across the tongue. A mineral, almost steely quality — characteristic of the Polish Hill subregion's hard, shallow soils — gives the wine tremendous tension and structure. The 2024 vintage showcases the site's signature austerity balanced with delicate floral lift, making it both compelling in youth and built for extended cellaring.
