About Pizzini King Valley Riesling 2025 750mL
Pizzini's King Valley Riesling is a beautifully expressive cool-climate expression from one of Victoria's most underrated wine regions. On the nose, it opens with vibrant lifted aromatics of fresh lime zest, green apple, and white blossom, underpinned by a delicate thread of slate minerality that speaks to the region's elevated vineyard sites. The palate is crisp and precise, delivering a tightly wound core of citrus fruit — lemon curd and lime juice — alongside crunchy Granny Smith apple and a whisper of jasmine. The wine's natural acidity is the backbone here, electric and mouthwatering, carrying the fruit with wonderful energy and focus. A faint hint of talc and crushed stone adds complexity and a sense of terroir. The finish is long, clean, and refreshing, leaving a lingering citrus zest and mineral impression that invites another sip.
