About Rudi Pichler Federsp 750ML
Rudi Pichler's Federspiel from the Wachau is a beautifully precise, terroir-driven Grüner Veltliner that captures the lighter, more delicate expression of this iconic Austrian variety. On the nose, it opens with fresh green apple, white pepper, and delicate citrus blossom, underscored by a mineral, almost chalite-like freshness that speaks directly to the loess and primary rock soils of the Wachau. On the palate, the wine is crisp and lively, with bright acidity framing flavors of Granny Smith apple, lemon zest, and a signature white pepper spice that is the hallmark of great Grüner Veltliner. A subtle herbal note of fresh dill and meadow herbs adds complexity without weight. The finish is clean, saline, and refreshingly dry, with lingering mineral tension and a gentle peppery warmth that invites another sip.
