About Villa Maria Cellar Selection Sauv Blanc 2024 750mL
Villa Maria Cellar Selection Sauvignon Blanc 2024 opens with a vivid, expressive bouquet that immediately signals its Marlborough origins. The nose is electric with lifted passionfruit and freshly cut grapefruit, underscored by a herbaceous whisper of freshly mown grass and crushed nettle. On the palate, the wine is bright and energetic, with juicy white peach and zesty lime zest taking centre stage alongside a characteristic capsicum edge. The texture is crisp and lively, driven by racy natural acidity that keeps the fruit focused and precise. A mineral, almost flinty quality threads through the mid-palate, adding complexity and a sense of place.
