About Barringwood Estate Chardonnay 750mL
Barringwood Estate Chardonnay from Tasmania's cool Leven Valley opens with an inviting bouquet of white peach, ripe nectarine, and fresh citrus blossom, underpinned by subtle struck flint and toasty French oak. On the palate, the wine is precise and finely structured, delivering vibrant acidity that carries flavours of grilled peach, Meyer lemon curd, and roasted cashew with admirable clarity. A touch of creamy texture from partial malolactic fermentation adds weight without sacrificing the wine's inherent freshness and cool-climate tension. The finish is long, mineral-driven, and saline, with lingering notes of toasted brioche and white stone fruit.
