About Brokenwood Indigo Vineyard Chardonnay 2024 750ML
Brokenwood's Indigo Vineyard Chardonnay from the Hunter Valley expresses a beautifully composed cool-climate character. On the nose, there are inviting aromas of white peach, nectarine, and preserved lemon, layered with subtle struck flint and a whisper of toasted brioche from restrained oak treatment. The palate is precise and energetic, with bright acidity framing flavours of grilled peach, green apple, and citrus zest, underpinned by a creamy texture that speaks to careful lees aging. A fine mineral thread runs throughout, lending focus and tension to the wine's generous fruit core.
