About Singlefile Great Southern Chardonnay
Singlefile's Great Southern Chardonnay opens with a luminous, pale straw hue and an inviting bouquet that reflects the cool-climate elegance of Western Australia's Great Southern region. On the nose, fragrant white peach and nectarine mingle with zesty grapefruit and a whisper of toasted brioche, underpinned by subtle struck flint minerality. The palate is precise and finely structured, delivering bright stone fruit flavours alongside creamy cashew and a gentle cedary oak influence from careful barrel fermentation. Natural acidity provides a taut, refreshing backbone that carries the wine with poise and energy. The texture is silky yet focused, with well-integrated oak lending complexity without overwhelming the fruit's natural vibrancy.
