About Villa Maria Reserve Hawkes Bay Chardonny 750ml
Villa Maria Reserve Hawke's Bay Chardonnay opens with an inviting bouquet of ripe white peach, toasted hazelnut, and a whisper of vanilla cream, underpinned by subtle struck-flint minerality. On the palate, this wine is beautifully structured — generous and textured, with flavours of nectarine, grilled pineapple, and lemon curd layered over a backbone of well-integrated French oak. Careful barrel fermentation and lees contact lend a silky, creamy mid-palate weight that is balanced by bright natural acidity, keeping the wine fresh and focused. The finish is long, clean, and satisfying, with lingering notes of toasted almond and citrus zest that speak clearly to the warm, sun-drenched Hawke's Bay terroir.
