About Water Wheel Bendigo Chardonnay 2024
Water Wheel's Bendigo Chardonnay showcases the warm, continental character of Central Victoria with admirable restraint and regional authenticity. On the nose, generous aromas of white peach, nectarine, and toasted cashew emerge alongside subtle hints of creamy vanilla and a whisper of struck flint. The palate is well-structured and generous, delivering ripe stone fruit flavours underpinned by judicious oak integration that adds texture without overwhelming the fruit. A bright line of natural acidity keeps the wine lively and focused, while a creamy mid-palate weight speaks to careful winemaking and quality fruit sourcing from the sun-drenched Bendigo region. The finish is clean, persistent, and satisfying.
