About Wills Domain Paladin Hill Chardonnay
Wills Domain Paladin Hill Chardonnay from the Margaret River region of Western Australia presents a beautifully composed and refined expression of cool-climate Chardonnay. On the nose, it opens with inviting aromas of white peach, nectarine, and freshly squeezed grapefruit, layered with subtle struck flint minerality and a whisper of toasted brioche from careful oak maturation. The palate is elegant and precise, delivering a seamless flow of stone fruit and citrus zest, underpinned by creamy lees-derived texture and a fine, chalky mineral thread. Restrained French oak integration adds complexity without overwhelming the fruit, offering hints of vanilla bean and roasted cashew. The wine's natural acidity provides excellent structure and vibrancy, carrying the flavours with grace and purpose.
